Jakiyah Bradley is a Research and Operations Associate for Thurgood Marshall Institute at LDF. Prior to this role she worked the Vera Institute of Justice across their Research, Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Department.
Jakiyah holds a B.A. in individualized studies from New York University, concentrating in urban policy and social change. While in undergrad, she worked with the New York State Unified Court System, Legal Aid Society of NYC, and The Bronx Defenders. Additionally, Jakiyah was a NYU Gallatin Global Fellow in Urban Place which placed her in Berlin, Germany with Each One Teach One e.V., a community-based education and empowerment project for Afrodiasporic people. Her points of pride as a student include researching framework for decolonizing toponyms in Berlin, Germany, and serving as Chairperson of NYU Student Government.
