Policing Reform Campaign

Since 1940, LDF has worked to advance fair and lawful policing practices across the nation. Today—nearly a century later—we are still engaged in the fight to secure unbiased and accountable policing. In 2015, LDF launched its Policing Reform Campaign to transform policing culture and practices, eliminate racial bias and profiling in policing, and end police violence against citizens. Since then, through the campaign, LDF continues to advocate for unbiased and accountable policing by advancing laws, policies, and practices at the national, state, and local levels.
