Jahdziah St. Julien

Jahdziah St. Julien Research Assocaite

Jahdziah St. Julien is a Research Associate with the Thurgood Marshall Institute at the Legal Defense Fund. Her passion lies at the intersection of policy analysis, empirical methodology, and legal reform. 

 Prior to joining LDF, Jahdziah was a researcher with the Better Life Lab at the New America think-tank. In her role, she researched and wrote about the program's priority issue areas—paid family leave, affordable childcare, labor policies, and intersectional gender equity.  

 Jahdziah's professional work has been featured on platforms such as NPR, referenced in educational materials, and cited by researchers. 

 Jahdziah received her master's in public policy from Duke University, concentrating in social policy and criminal legal reform. She completed her undergraduate studies at Princeton University, where she researched the historical impact of policies and social movements on racially marginalized communities. 

 In her spare time, Jahdziah enjoys walking to cafes, listening to podcasts, and experiencing new places with family and friends.
